Are you missing one or more teeth? Have you noticed that missing a tooth has caused a negative impact on your oral health and function? Do you feel embarrassed to smile because people notice your missing tooth?
If you answered “yes” to one or more of these questions, dental implants may be just what you need to restore your smile. Dental implants are permanent replacements for missing teeth. Our experienced dentist, Dr. Corey Johnson, will work with local specialists to coordinate your dental implants in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
First, the dental implant, which is a small post usually created from titanium, is surgically placed in the jawbone. After a period of healing, Dr. Corey Johnson will place the dental implant restoration. This completes the implant and restores your smile to optimal function, appearance, and health. Depending on how many teeth are missing and on your individual preferences, your dental implant restoration may be a dental crown, full or partial denture, or dental bridge.
Dental implants are an excellent choice for replacing missing teeth. They are designed to last for your lifetime, and they are a strong, stable tooth replacement option. For more information on the benefits of implant dentistry, we welcome you to contact us at Sunlight Dentistry.
