Corey I. Johnson, DDS
Meet Our Dentist
Dr. Johnson is a fourth-generation Colorado native.
He graduated from the University of Colorado Dental School in 1996 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He then completed a General Practice Residency at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia. During this time, Dr. Johnson received extensive training in hospital-based dentistry, such as dental emergencies, oral surgery, and caring for patients before and after surgery in the hospital.
He served as a naval officer aboard the USS Frank Cable stationed in Guam, which provided medical, dental, repair, and supply services to naval ships and submarines throughout the Pacific Ocean.
Dr. Johnson returned home in 2000 to practice dentistry with his father in Longmont, Colorado until 2006. He set down roots in Glenwood Springs, Colorado in May of 2006, where he now lives with his wife and three children.

Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Colorado Prosthodontic Society.

Our Dental Hygienists
Miriam Salvidrez
Dental HygienistMiriam was born and raised in the Roaring Fork Valley and currently lives in Carbondale.
After working with the practice since 2019 as a hygienist, Miriam enjoys the hands-on experiences she has with patients, where she’s able to educate and break language barriers.
Outside of work, Miriam likes to spend quality time with her family, camp, hike, and admire the natural beauty of the valley.

Crystal Huck
Dental AssistantCrystal is a Roaring Fork Valley native. After graduating from Roaring Fork High School, Crystal started working for the practice in 2002. Ever since, she has loved getting to know the patients and helping them navigate their dental health needs.
Crystal loves to be with her husband and two children, as well as fish, hike, camp, ski, and curl up for a good movie.
Joann Rodriguez
Dental AssistantJoann has been living in New Castle for the past few years after growing up in Grand Junction.
Since 2020, Joann has been working at the practice and taking pride in helping patients preserve their oral health.
When she’s not working with teeth, Joann can be found with her husband Zeke, spending time outdoors, eating BBQ, and sharing laughs with her family and friends.
Kaitlyn Johnson
Dental AssistantFollowing in her father Dr. Johnson’s legacy, Kaitlyn has been working at the practice since 2018, where she enjoys working directly with patients and learning more about the dental industry.
When she isn’t in her hometown of Glenwood Springs, Kaitlyn can be found studying in Boulder at the University of Colorado. In her spare time, Kaitlyn likes to play volleyball, ski, spend time with friends, and play with her pup.

Amber Wissing
Office ManagerAmber was born and raised in Glenwood Springs, Colorado and has been working at the office since 2003.
After pursuing a degree in education, she fell into the dental field, where she especially enjoys connecting with clients and the community; she loves helping the people in her hometown.
In her spare time, Amber enjoys volunteering, reading, and enjoying all that the Roaring Fork Valley has to offer with her husband Jeff and their two girls.
Natalie Kellum
Treatment CoordinatorNatalie was born in Cleveland, Tennessee. She graduated from Berry College in 2002 and moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2004.
Natalie has been with the practice since 2006 and appreciates the opportunity to serve and help the community.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys exploring and adventuring, especially snowboarding, kayaking, and camping up and down the valley with her husband and daughter.
